Bright Beginnings opens from 7.45am until 6.00pm, for 51 weeks per annum. It will close for 1 week over the Christmas period. We aspire to extend these hours as demand for the services increases.
The maximum number of children which, Bright Beginnings can accommodate is 34 in Full Day Care and 40 in Sessional Care.

Wobblers aged 1 - 2 years (5 max) 1:5

Sessional Care (Pre-school) 2yrs 10mths - 6 yrs (20 max) 1:10

OUTDOOR PLAY AREA
This area is a covered play space which will enable the children at Bright Beginnings to avail of fresh air even in typical Irish weather. The outdoor play area with playground is an essential asset to the service that provides an opportunity for children of all ages to develop gross motor skills in a safe and secure environment.
ACTIVITIES
Activities at Bright Beginnings will be planned by trained staff who will incorporate the different developmental stages of the child into daily programmes. All children will have the opportunity to learn through play and engage in activities that will be age and stage appropriate. These will be altered on a regular basis to ensure variety and that each child's ongoing changing needs are being met.
REQUIREMENTS FROM PARENTS FOR BABIES
Please provide a changing bag containing the daily supply of nappies, wipes, change of clothes, baby�s changing mat or towel, soother, sufficient bottles made up for the day, jars or packets of solid food which staff will prepare.
REQUIREMENTS FROM PARENTS FOR CHILDREN NOT POTTY TRAINED
Please provide a changing bag containing the daily supply of nappies, wipes, change of clothes, baby�s changing mat or towel, comforter e.g. favourite blanket.
REQUIREMENTS FROM PARENTS FOR CHILDREN OVER 3 YEARS
Please provide a bag containing a change of clothes.
REQUIREMENTS FROM PARENTS IN RELATION TO BUGGIES
To avoid cross contamination issues and in the interest of health and safety, Bright Beginnings will not accept or store any buggies/pushchairs on our premises. No exceptions will be made.
