Special Mass
In light of recent tragic events in the area which affected so many people its has been decided to start a process to help deal with the issues surrounding it. The first stage of this process will involve the gathering together of people within the community best able to help.
The first meeting is on Wednesday, October 8. After this meeting the wider community will be addressed and invited to give their opinion and offer support. It is hoped that the group will continue into the future offering support and advice to the community.

Any pensioners who are interested in security aids such as centrally monitored pendants or security lighting should contact 090 64 54671 for more details.

Revival of Autumn Stations in Ferbane
It is almost station time in our parish again, however in recent years this tradition has slowly began to die with a decline in the number of areas hosting the station mass. The upmost is being done to help continue this lovely tradition in our parish but we need your help. Could you host a station mass for your area this October? Couples living in a new home would be especially welcome to host the station in their new home and have it blessed in the company of family, friends and neighbours. If anyone is interested in hosting the station for their area please contact, Fr. Frankie, Fr. Pierre or Fiona in the office on Wednesdays. Ferbane Library

Clonmacnois Pattern
Clonmacnois annual pattern day takes place on Sunday next September 14 with mass being celebrated at 3pm.

Ferbane Parent and Toddler Group
Ferbane Parent and Toddler Group will continue this Wednesday in Bright Beginnings Childcare centre from 10.30am to12.30pm. The group is open to all parents and childminders of children 0-5 years.
