Ferbane/Belmont Capture Third County Title
Ferbane/Belmont minor club is on a winning streak after capturing three county titles in just eight days.
On Saturday, September 13 last the club's U-10 footballers put on an impressive display to overcome St Vincent's. Following on this success the club's U-12's then overcame St Vincent's.
It was then the turn of the U-12 hurlers and they defeated CRC Gaels in a well fought match in Rath. However the competitive streak is not yet finished and there is hope that the silverware already collected this year can be added to when the clubs U-14 footballers compete in the county final against St Broughan's in O'Connor Park on Saturday next while the U-10 hurlers will 'clash the ash' with Kinnitty in Durrow at 11am on Sunday, September 28.

The winning numbers in last week's lotto draw were 6, 9, 11, 13. The bonus number was 4. There was no jackpot winner and there was one match three winner. Training: U-8's & U-9's Mondays 6-7pm, U-16's 7-8pm, Wednesdays: U-10's & U-11's 6-7pm, U-12's & U14's 8-9pm. Lotto Jackpot now worth n18,900 - The numbers drawn in last week's (September 16) lotto draw were 3, 7, 8, 17 & bonus number 27. There was no jackpot winner but Joseph Farrell, Phil & Kevin, Pat Colfer, Shelia & Paddy, Lily Flaherty, Maria McDonnell and Phil Carroll were match three winners and won n30 each. The club will host the Ferbane Open Foursomes takes place next weekend from Thursday to Saturday, September 25 to 27. Everyone is welcome to come and play. The club will host the Scratch Cup sponsored by Daniel Lonican on Sunday, September 28 play commences at 8am.
